We friends together have formed "Urjaa Foundation.".......
The infinite positive energy of The Sky, The Sun & The Earth is "Urjaa" It is the same Urjaa -Energy which flows through us.
Urjaa is our inspiration..... our Prerana....."Urjaa Foundation" was born in 2015 with the sole purpose of making a difference to the society. We are committed to the betterment of the society in every small way we can. We can undertake any social cause which helps in the upliftment of different segments of the society.
Our first small step towards this is our project "Dyanayadna" which was carried out on 25th May, 2015. With an aim of distributing books & guides to 100 needy 10 th standard Students in 2 schools at Tusegson in Wada Taluka & Pivali Gaon in Shahapur Taluka situated at the footfalls of Mahuligad. All of us set out on this journey & what awaited us at the school was a pleasant surprise. Disciplined students led by their efficient teachers welcomed us. The youth had smiles on their faces, greetings on their lips & dreams in their eyes. With hardly any resources available the teachers here are doing quite a laudable job we felt.
This has given us a feeling of contentment & satisfaction, inspired us to carry our work forward & not just stop there. We intend to follow up with the students to help them for their board exams and going forward in all possible ways. We gave away 80 sets of books which will be used by more than 150 - 10 th standard students. They will share the sets with each other, with this we spread the message of unity, sharing & caring. Apart from this we have planned to give fees of ten 10 th standard students at Sarlabai Mhatre School, Patharli Dombivli and sponsor fees of 5 students of Manasvini foundation, Dombivli. Thus we are happy that we could spread our hands to help more than 100 students........
